Global Credit Risk Director (Finance)

Location: Hybrid role based in either the Prague (Jinonice) or Singapore office, with an average of 3 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a diverse global Credit Risk team across Mexico, the Czech Republic, and Singapore.
• Own the global credit risk strategy and oversee risk management across the customer portfolio, including hirify.global Education.
• Partner with Markets & Channels and hirify.global Education teams to balance business growth with effective credit risk management.
• Define and evolve the credit strategy and risk appetite framework in response to market and macroeconomic changes.
• Develop advanced analytics, predictive risk modelling, automation, and AI-enabled credit risk capabilities with Business Process & Information teams.
• Collaborate with Treasury and Accounts Receivable to optimize working capital, cash flow, and credit performance.

Requirements

• Academic background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of finance experience with hands-on Credit Risk Management experience.
• Leadership experience managing multicultural and preferably geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience working in a global, matrix organization and collaborative business environment.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, stakeholder management, communication, storytelling, and influencing capabilities.
• Experience leading process transformation, automation, and optimization initiatives with Digital & Technology teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with finance technologies, credit platforms, and digital transformation tools.
• Exposure to predictive analytics, automation, or AI applications in finance operations.
