Associate/Vice President, Sector & Specialised Lending, TM

ING Wholesale Banking operates its regional Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore and provides tailor-made financing solutions to corporate clients.

What you will do

• Manage new specialised lending transactions in collaboration with Sector Bankers and Relationship Managers.
• Perform financial, credit, risk, comparable-company, debt-structure, performance, and pricing analyses.
• Build and manage complex financial models, including sensitivity analysis and validation of macroeconomic, technical, and financial assumptions.
• Draft and negotiate financing term sheets, financing documents, and security documents.
• Coordinate due diligence with third-party advisors and lending syndicates, and oversee deal closing and conditions precedent.
• Support marketing materials, primary syndication, policy changes, and lending-related transformation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, management, engineering, or a similar field.
• 3–5 years of specialised, structured, and/or project finance experience for Associate level, or 6–7 years for Vice President level.
• Strong financial analysis, financial modelling, risk analysis, and credit skills.
• Experience in one or more priority sectors and openness to working across two or three sectors.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, collaboration, and cross-cultural skills.
• Ability to work independently in a deal-oriented, deadline-driven environment with clients, banks, advisors, and internal functions.

Nice to have

• Experience in metals, mining, fertilizers, critical metals, sustainable materials, refining, processing, the battery industry value chain, or new energies in the Asia Pacific region.
