What you will do

• Own build and inspection processes for primary structure assembly.
• Develop and refine welding, trimming, shearing, rolling, bending, and other manufacturing processes.
• Document and standardize manufacturing processes, planning, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, technicians, and quality teams to solve production challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability and support development-to-production transitions.
• Plan equipment and layout upgrades, capacity models, and product-flow improvements for on-time vehicle delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a comparable STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience implementing or improving manufacturing processes, products, or tools, especially for metallic assemblies.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience managing products or product lines across multiple work centers, departments, or within a single work center.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends for critical mission milestones.
• Must be a U.S. person under U.S. export control regulations or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale metal forming or welding assemblies.
• Experience with automated or semi-automated metal forming or welding processes.
• Experience addressing manufacturing non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience transitioning complex aerospace products from R&D to production.
• Knowledge of welding, metal forming, and rolling techniques, processes, and equipment.
