Onsite Administrator Level II (Printer Technician) - Falls Church, VA

What you will do

• Provide advanced onsite support for enterprise printers, copiers, multifunction devices, and print management solutions.
• Diagnose and repair complex hardware failures, connectivity issues, firmware problems, and print quality defects.
• Perform major repairs, rebuilds, and component replacements involving fusers, transfer belts, imaging units, power supplies, controllers, and formatter boards.
• Configure and troubleshoot network printing environments, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, print servers, and print queues.
• Install and support enterprise print management and secure printing technologies.
• Manage escalated tickets, improve device reliability through root cause analysis, mentor technicians, and support fleet assessments and deployment projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance or quality-related environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise printers, copiers, and multifunction devices.
• Strong knowledge of printer hardware architecture, repair procedures, print servers, network protocols, and print management software.
• Ability to perform detailed diagnostics, root cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions.
• Strong customer service, communication, leadership, prioritization, and independent work skills.
• Ability to work onsite in the United States.

Nice to have

• Print manufacturer certifications or CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications.
• Managed Print Services experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and cloud-based print solutions.
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring support staff.
