Senior People Operations Manager

What you will do

• Lead People Operations programs from scope definition through execution, including milestones, risks, owners, and success measures.
• Own and administer core People technology platforms such as HRIS, ATS, LMS, and performance tools.
• Coordinate technology deployments, platform conversions, module rollouts, and vendor relationships.
• Build the People technology roadmap, benchmark tools, and evaluate emerging technologies including AI.
• Establish HR data governance, audit-ready documentation, support models, service levels, and automated workflows.
• Manage compliance programs including I-9/E-Verify, records retention, access audits, employment law, and data privacy requirements.

Requirements

• Experience owning People Operations programs in a high-growth technology environment.
• Experience administering HR platforms, including configuration, rollouts, upgrades, and coordination with IT and vendors.
• Experience designing and improving employee lifecycle processes, reducing manual work, and increasing automation.
• Experience influencing Payroll, Finance, IT, Legal, HRBPs, and leadership without direct authority.
• Structured project management experience with dependencies, risk communication, and executive-ready status updates.
• Experience with HR data governance and compliance programs such as I-9/E-Verify, records retention, or data privacy.

Nice to have

• Experience with Paylocity, Lattice, or ChartHop, or a history of migrating between major HR platforms.
• Familiarity with employer-of-record models and distributed global workforces.
• Experience building a tiered HR service model.
• Applied use of AI tools to redesign team workflows.
