Microsoft IAM Engineer (Azure/Entra ID)

Location: Hybrid, with offices in Salt Lake City, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chandler; open to candidates nationwide in the United States. Travel of up to 15% may be required.

Salary: $75,000–$115,000 base salary annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Administer enterprise identity and access management across Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft 365, and on-premises Active Directory.
• Manage onboarding, transfers, role changes, offboarding, authentication, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, SSPR, RBAC, PIM, and managed identities.
• Integrate enterprise applications and Workday using SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM, application registrations, and API permissions.
• Support identity governance, access reviews, entitlement management, privileged access controls, and Zero Trust security principles.
• Support Azure tenant governance and operational oversight of virtual machines, storage, networking, Key Vault, and PaaS resources.
• Develop automation with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Automation, and infrastructure-as-code, while participating in incident response and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of IAM administration experience and 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory administration experience; 5 years preferred.
• Experience integrating Workday with identity platforms and administering Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, SSO, federation, Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, PIM, hybrid identity, and Active Directory synchronization.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience, plus experience with enterprise-scale identity operations and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
