Location: Long Beach, California, United States; travel up to 20% may be required.

Salary: $151,000–$215,000 USD annually in California.

hirify.global develops next-generation commercial space stations, including the multi-module Haven Station, to support permanent human presence in space, microgravity research, manufacturing, and a new space economy.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end mission success from contract award through on-orbit execution, return where applicable, and mission closeout.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface and internal mission lead.
  • Define and negotiate interface control documents covering customer hardware, Haven space stations, crew transport vehicles, launch providers, and ground systems.
  • Lead mission integration, including payload and cargo lifecycle, hardware and software readiness, crew and ground operator readiness, and flight readiness.
  • Drive risk management, issue resolution, integrated master schedule development, and cross-functional execution.
  • Coordinate with mission operations, engineering, production, leadership, business development, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or another technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, technical program management, or customer-facing mission execution.
  • Experience with human spaceflight missions, NASA human spaceflight policies and procedures, or crew vehicle systems is preferred.
  • Experience leading launch integration campaigns and negotiating ICDs with external stakeholders is preferred.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person under U.S. export-control rules or be eligible for deemed export licensing.
  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends to support critical mission milestones.
