Director of Investment Advisory (Investment Advisory)

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 base salary plus annual incentive

What you will do

• Provide investment advisory services to single-family office prospects and clients, including asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager diligence, and risk management guidance.
• Participate in client and prospect meetings, identify investment objectives, provide investment insights, and strengthen client engagement.
• Review external investment managers and collaborate with internal investment management teams to position appropriate portfolio solutions.
• Monitor trends across alternative investments, public equity, fixed income, and investment manager developments.
• Support complex hybrid and partially discretionary mandates with relationship management teams.
• Generate investment content, analyze market and macroeconomic developments, and help establish BBH as a thought leader in the family office space.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant investment experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graduate degree and/or CFA is advantageous.
• Experience engaging with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices, raising capital, and distributing investment products.
• Extensive network within the family office and wealth management ecosystem.
• Exceptional data analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis, written and verbal communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, integrity, professional standards, and the ability to work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Graduate school degree and/or CFA.
• Experience recruiting, coaching, and training junior investment professionals.
