SAP S/4HANA Technical Lead - ABAP & Fiori (SAP)

What you will do

• Lead the S/4HANA ABAP and Fiori development strategy and solution design.
• Collaborate with implementation partners, IT teams, functional teams, and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and support resource allocation and delivery planning.
• Develop and support Fiori applications, OData services, SAP Gateway configurations, and S/4HANA extensions.
• Build and maintain ALE/IDoc, RFC, and BAPI-based integrations, including enhancements using BAdIs, user exits, and enhancement spots.
• Optimize ABAP programs and ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and performance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of SAP ABAP development experience, including at least 5 years in a lead role focused on S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules and integration points, Object-Oriented ABAP, the Enhancement Framework, BAPIs, BADIs, Smart Forms, Workflows, and debugging tools.
• Experience creating and consuming OData services for Fiori applications and debugging ABAP and Fiori applications.
• Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, code push-down techniques, performance tuning, optimization, and ATC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, resource allocation, timeline management, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with BTP side-by-side extensions, in-app extensions, and configuration.
• Experience with Eclipse, Business Application Studio, and code migration and transport options across the landscape.
• Relevant SAP certifications.
