Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Growth (Go)

Salary: $176,000–$231,000 per year, plus eligibility for hirify.global’s equity plan.

What you will do

• Lead the technical design and delivery of business-critical services for customer acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, and revenue operations.
• Design high-throughput, fault-tolerant billing and metering pipelines, balancing correctness, latency, cost, and operability.
• Build account lifecycle flows covering activation, expansion, plan and SKU changes, suspension, dunning, and offboarding.
• Develop integrations and reconciliation pipelines connecting revenue data with CRM, support, analytics, and business intelligence systems.
• Design usage APIs, cost reporting, and billable-action metrics that provide accurate customer-facing spend transparency.
• Improve reliability through monitoring, alerting, dashboards, runbooks, code reviews, design reviews, and operational readiness practices.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and delivering production-grade backend systems, preferably in cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency in at least one systems or backend language; Go is preferred.
• Experience building and operating distributed systems, including concurrency, reliability, scaling, consistency, and failure handling.
• Practical knowledge of data pipelines and storage systems such as PostgreSQL, Redshift, Kinesis, and S3-like storage.
• Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms and handling idempotency, drift detection, and recovery.
• Experience with observability, incident response, performance tuning, on-call readiness, continuous delivery, and cross-functional technical planning.
