What you will do

• Develop deployment, configuration, and reliability tools for customer-controlled environments to mimic a managed product experience.
• Build and scale high-throughput systems for log processing, routing, and transformation across distributed environments.
• Lead cross-team initiatives, aligning engineers and product managers to deliver complex, multi-team projects.
• Design and implement software that runs reliably within customers' own cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency through capacity planning and trade-off analysis.
• Contribute to critical code paths and resolve debugging and deployment challenges in customer environments.

Requirements

• Significant experience building software installed and operated in customer environments (non-SaaS).
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, scalability, and high-throughput data processing.
• Proficiency in systems-level programming such as Go, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Linux systems troubleshooting.
• Production experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional engineering efforts and influencing technical direction.
