Senior Specialist, Direct Commodity Management (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop commodity strategies and execute sourcing decisions for plastic fabrication and packaging categories.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and maintain continuity of supply for assigned commodities.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers’ technical teams to understand technology roadmaps and capabilities.
• Assess supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with product development teams on outsource manufacturing sourcing for new business growth.
• Own, negotiate, and manage commercial and technical supply-chain agreements with critical suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• Understanding of total cost of ownership models and strong fundamentals in plastic fabrication.
• Technical background in part fabrication and the ability to support semiconductor manufacturing needs.
• Demonstrated negotiation, communication, relationship-building, and supplier-management capabilities.
• Ability to identify complex business needs, develop creative solutions, and lead continuous improvement.
• Professional proficiency in English and Korean required.

Nice to have

• Professional proficiency in Japanese.
