What you will do

• Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with business objectives and the advanced packaging roadmap.
• Drive Cost, Quality, Availability, and Technology (CQAT) optimization across the supply chain.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, including sourcing, selection, performance management, and executive alignment.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and cost reduction roadmaps.
• Implement supply chain and sub-tier risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with engineering and suppliers to influence material specifications and design decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in supply chain or commodity management.
• Proven expertise in contracting, supplier management, or sourcing.
• Experience in cost, supply, and risk management.
• Must be based in or able to work in Tokyo, Japan to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• MBA or other advanced degree.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor or advanced packaging industry.
• Experience influencing technical or product decisions through supply chain strategy.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and negotiation skills.
