Senior Employee Relations Partner

Location: Hybrid role with a defined US work location, including work from home and 3 office days; NY office listed, with Durham as the preferred primary location.

Salary: $140,000–$192,500 per year, with potential annual bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Lead intake, investigation, documentation, and resolution of complex global employee relations cases.
• Coach managers and HRBPs on performance management, disciplinary actions, and difficult conversations.
• Handle sensitive escalations and partner with Legal on high-risk employee concerns.
• Develop and update HR and employee relations policies and training programs.
• Design scalable case trackers, templates, workflows, and documentation practices.
• Analyze case data to identify trends, systemic risks, and improvements to people strategies.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or higher; a JD is optional.
• 8–10+ years of employee relations or employment-law-focused HR experience.
• Expertise in employment law across the US, UK, Germany, and Japan.
• Experience managing complex, sensitive employee relations matters and investigations.
• Strong judgment, discretion, communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with diplomacy.
