Business Development Associate (Financial Services)

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada; on-site part time Monday-Friday

Salary: CAD 25.00–27.55 per hour

What you will do

• Support Investment Advisors in planning and managing client investments.
• Cold-call prospective clients, book financial reviews, and generate sales opportunities.
• Develop and nurture leads through calls, follow-ups, and emails.
• Provide Investment Advisors with regular updates on client leads and requests.
• Organize seminars, including scheduling, room bookings, and marketing approvals.
• Participate in community events, marketing, and outreach activities to build relationships and generate opportunities.

Requirements

• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Experience or working knowledge of financial services and/or the brokerage industry is an asset.
• Administrative, organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain compliance standards in client dealings and files.
• Critical thinking, personal initiative, accountability, and relationship-building skills.
