GSOC Manager (Physical Security)

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States. US citizenship is required; active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain it is required.

Salary: $104,000–$164,500 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $129,000–$194,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations of a 24/7 Global Security Operations Center, including analyst and supervisor scheduling, coaching, and operational oversight.
• Direct real-time monitoring of alarms, access control, CCTV, environmental alerts, and other physical security systems across global facilities.
• Manage triage, escalation, communications, and after-action reviews for critical incidents such as natural disasters, protests, crime events, infrastructure disruptions, and workplace safety threats.
• Oversee global travel risk monitoring, elevated-risk trip approvals, pre-travel briefings, emergency traveler assistance, and executive security support.
• Coordinate security operations for secured and U.S. Government cleared facilities, including alarm response, contractor guard activity, and NISPOM-related requirements.
• Improve GSOC technologies, integrations, automation, dashboards, training programs, policies, and compliance processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, emergency response, intelligence analysis, or corporate physical security.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a GSOC, SOC, or emergency operations environment.
• Experience with physical security systems, including alarms, access control, CCTV, and mass notification tools.
• Ability to manage critical incidents, make decisions under pressure, and brief leadership clearly and concisely.
• Experience supporting executive security, travel risk programs, or global threat monitoring; bachelor's degree in Operations, Intelligence, or equivalent experience.
• US citizenship and active DoD Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance when administratively feasible, are required. Ability to travel up to 10% is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NISPOM, cleared facility requirements, and classified space security protocols.
• Experience with Lenel, Breakthrough, Dataminr, Everbridge, or similar enterprise security platforms.
• ASIS CPP or PSP, business continuity, or similar professional certifications.
• Project management experience and a track record of driving process improvements.
