Security Coordinator II - Security Operations (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in Cape Canaveral, Florida, United States

Salary: $23.38–$35.06 USD per hour

hirify.global develops and manufactures rockets, including the Terran R launch vehicle, to deliver customer payloads into orbit.

What you will do

• Protect personnel, property, and operations through site security and protective operations.
• Manage reception and lobby operations, including visitor, contractor, and employee processing.
• Issue access cards and parking permits according to site procedures.
• Monitor CCTV, access-control systems, and support video reviews.
• Support ITAR compliance by following company policies and working with Legal.
• Coordinate employee offboarding with Human Resources, including access revocation and company-property collection.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military, security, or customer service.
• Knowledge of site-specific reception and lobby duties, with experience using visitor management systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, work with minimal supervision, and maintain confidentiality.
• Successful candidates must pass a background check administered by the US government for on-site work at a government partner location.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, testing, launch operations, critical infrastructure, or another high-risk environment.
• Familiarity with ITAR, CUI, export controls, and restricted-access requirements.
• Willingness to pursue advanced physical and administrative security training and certifications.
