Client Accounting Supervisor - Alternatives (Fund Accounting)

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 base salary per year plus annual target bonus

What you will do

• Lead the alternatives client service accounting team and act as an escalation point for complex client issues.
• Prepare, review, and approve monthly and quarterly NAV packages and allocations across hedge, private equity, private debt, real estate, and other alternative investment funds.
• Reconcile general ledger transactions and balances with investment capital statements, loan documents, prime brokerage statements, Markit WSO reporting, and client reports.
• Resolve complex client matters involving equalization, IRR, management fees, and waterfall or carry calculations.
• Support year-end audits, regulatory reporting, tax preparation, investor capital calls, and distributions.
• Coordinate with financial reporting, implementation, and conversion teams while improving policies, procedures, controls, and technology processes.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a business-related field.
• 3+ years of alternatives fund accounting, global custody, and/or transfer agency experience preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of one or more alternatives segments, including hedge funds, public or private debt, private equity, or real estate funds.
• Highly proficient with Excel.
• Working knowledge of WSO preferred.
• Ability to mentor and coach staff; supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
