Senior NDE Inspector, ET, Second Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Cape Canaveral, Florida, United States; on-site work at a government partner location.

Salary: $35.20–$52.80 USD per hour

What you will do

• Develop and execute feasibility studies, probability of detection plans, and qualification plans with ET specialist inspectors and NDE engineers.
• Perform eddy current and eddy current array inspections using advanced techniques.
• Evaluate digital ET/ECA data files against quality and accept/reject criteria.
• Document and report eddy current analysis results in detail.
• Develop and publish part-specific NDE techniques for complex components.
• Interface with external stakeholders and vendors regarding inspection results, future capabilities, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• NDE Level II certification in eddy current inspection.
• Classroom training records and certifications compliant with NAS 410 or SNT-TC-1A; records must be provided before the on-site interview.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering work instructions and drawings.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%–25%.

Nice to have

• Experience with eddy current array inspection and Eddyfi Magnifi or an equivalent platform.
• Additional NDE Level II certifications in ultrasonics, dye penetrant, or visual inspection.
• Experience with alternating current field measurement inspections.
• Knowledge of NASA, AMS, AWS/ASME, ASTM, or similar industry standards.
• Experience with CAD, QA/QC, or Lean Manufacturing concepts.
