Staff Accountant - International Accounting & Accounting Operations (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States; travel up to 10% to Hawthorne and Mojave sites. Evening and weekend work may be required for critical mission milestones.

Salary: $75,350–$106,970 USD annually.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for multiple international entities.
• Perform consolidation entries, including intercompany and investment eliminations and minority interest adjustments.
• Manage foreign currency translation and remeasurement while ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and corporate accounting policies.
• Post journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, support monthly close and variance analysis, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Coordinate audit readiness and track PBC requests from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate meetings and communication among auditors, finance teams, business stakeholders, external providers, and accounting leadership.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• Ability to navigate computer applications and software programs effectively.
• Ability to work independently, make judgments with limited information, and solve problems logically and strategically.
• Must meet U.S. export-control requirements by being a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Nice to have

• CPA licensure.
• Experience with facilities and machinery in the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of amortizing prepaid expenses.
• Knowledge of NetSuite.
