What you will do

• Design turbine hot gas path components and deliver thermal analyses focused on efficiency, component life, robustness, and manufacturability.
• Improve classical heat transfer tools, tool chains, and automated workflows, including opportunities for AI/ML integration.
• Advance 3D conjugate heat transfer methodologies for new engines and turbine upgrades.
• Support engine and component testing by preparing test predictions and performing post-test data reduction and analysis.
• Collaborate with global engineering resources and present technical results to internal customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related thermo-fluid discipline.
• Several years of industrial experience in turbomachinery, turbine hot gas path thermal design, fluid systems, or comparable applications.
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer principles and conjugate heat transfer.
• More than five years of hands-on experience with FEA, CFD, and CAD tools.
• Programming experience with APDL and Python, together with computational methods expertise.
• Business-fluent English and German required.
