Senior Video Editor (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, with frequent trips to locations in Stennis, Mississippi and Cape Canaveral, Florida; flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends

Salary: $74,000–$112,000 USD annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Edit video content from rough cut through final delivery, including color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Ingest, organize, catalog, and archive large-scale media assets efficiently and at scale.
• Provide editorial guidance during pre-shoot meetings, on-site production, and post-production.
• Translate creative briefs, brand strategies, and business needs into compelling videos.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders, peers, and working groups.
• Assist with camera operation during shoots as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a video editor in a collaborative environment, supported by a portfolio showing varied projects and editing styles.
• Pro-level fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere and After Effects.
• Strong attention to detail, project organization, and the ability to deliver quality work on time in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple editing projects and deadlines in parallel.
• Availability for frequent travel to Stennis, Mississippi and Cape Canaveral, Florida, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, technology, or other engineering-led industries.
• Understanding of brand campaigns, art direction, and social and digital media ecosystems.
• Experience with Cinema 4D or Blender.
