What you will do

• Edit documentary-style customer stories, brand films, employee profiles, product launches, events, panels, podcasts, educational content, and social videos.
• Build emotionally engaging narratives from interviews, vérité footage, b-roll, transcripts, product demonstrations, and other unscripted material.
• Manage the full post-production process, including ingest, media organization, editing, graphics, sound, color, versioning, archiving, and delivery.
• Shape pacing, music, sound design, color, titles, lower thirds, end cards, and light motion graphics.
• Create platform-specific cut-downs and identify additional content opportunities in unused footage.
• Collaborate with filmmakers, marketers, leadership, production crews, and external creative partners while managing multiple projects.

Requirements

• Significant professional editing experience across documentary, branded, commercial, or editorial content.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling, editorial judgment, artistic taste, creative range, and technical craft.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve and mastery of the complete post-production workflow.
• Advanced skills in narrative structure, interview-driven storytelling, pacing, b-roll, music, sound design, rhythm, color grading, dialogue cleanup, audio restoration, and mixing.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and creation of polished titles, lower thirds, end cards, and light motion graphics.
• Excellent project organization, creative ownership, collaboration, feedback skills, and thoughtful use of AI and emerging creative tools.

Nice to have

• Advanced motion design or animation skills.
• Experience maintaining relationships with freelance editors, motion designers, colorists, sound mixers, composers, and other creative partners.
