Junior Operations Specialist Institutional Middle Office (Finance)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office, or 2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old.

What you will do

• Manage the trade lifecycle for multiple financial instrument types, including trade capture, matching, instruction release, settlement, and fail management.
• Provide client service and resolve open inquiries in cooperation with financial institutions and investment managers worldwide.
• Process trade confirmations and settlements, monitor inbound trade notifications and outbound messages, and investigate discrepancies.
• Identify operational errors, escalate issues to the appropriate parties, and suggest process improvements to reduce risk.
• Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support client onboarding, internal and external testing projects, and cross-regional handovers with colleagues in Hong Kong and the United States.

Requirements

• English at C1 level in speaking and writing.
• Knowledge of finance gained through work experience or university education.
• Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
• Strong communication, teamwork, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work under time pressure and remain highly self-motivated.
