KYC Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Own end-to-end KYC reviews and onboarding for retail clients, including complex, higher-risk, and exception cases.
• Handle client queries and onboarding-related complaints, resolving complex cases and escalating appropriately.
• Identify exceptions, process gaps, and system issues, recommending improvements that reduce operational and compliance risk.
• Support regulatory and AML procedure updates and maintain current knowledge of relevant developments.
• Train and mentor KYC Associates during onboarding and early development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of retail onboarding processes and controls.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience performing KYC/AML activities, ideally in retail financial services.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end KYC and retail client onboarding processes.
• Risk awareness across operational, compliance, and reputational areas, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations and industry guidelines.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data and operational reporting.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; experience with an internationally regulated retail client base.
