Manufacturing Development Engineer (Additive Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing partner teams to deliver additive manufacturing printer products for customer shipment.
• Own assigned 3D printer product subsystems and ensure product and process engineering performance meets specifications.
• Support factory build issues, escalations, post-market field issues, and customer feedback related to owned subsystems.
• Support new product introduction and industrialization activities under accelerated time-to-market schedules.
• Participate in prototype builds and provide design-for-excellence input and product/process knowledge transfer.
• Implement engineering changes and drive improvements in manufacturing cost, quality, productivity, and factory performance.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Typically 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering operations or a related field.
• Experience supporting product and process engineering performance in manufacturing operations.
• Ability to collaborate with R&D, operations, and manufacturing partner teams.
• Relocation is not provided.
