Sr. Surety Account Manager (Insurance)

Location: Miami Lakes, Florida; primarily based in South Florida offices. Hybrid or remote flexibility may be considered for candidates with significant surety experience, but on-site presence is expected to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

What you will do

• Support clients, advisors, and surety company representatives throughout the commercial surety bond process.
• Review bond requests, contracts, and bond forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and process bid bonds, performance bonds, payment bonds, and other surety documentation.
• Maintain client financial records, bond files, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with surety carriers on approvals, bond issuance, and ongoing account servicing.
• Manage client communication, premium audits, accounts receivable follow-up, reports, correspondence, and related administrative activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of surety bond experience.
• Florida 2-20 or 4-40 insurance license.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
