FP&A Manager

Location: Foster City, United States

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year base salary, excluding incentive compensation and potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Own functional P&L budgeting and forecasting across monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles.
• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, board reporting, and executive presentations.
• Partner with business leaders on headcount, vendor spend, performance metrics, and data-driven decisions.
• Build financial models for scenario planning, ad hoc analysis, and strategic projects.
• Improve reporting design, dashboards, financial processes, and data accessibility.
• Own the Anaplan FP&A tool for functional P&L expense planning and maintain financial data integrity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive finance experience with demonstrated growth in FP&A roles, preferably in SaaS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial processes, data structures, and systems.
• Experience with Anaplan, NetSuite, or equivalent planning and reporting tools.
• Technical fluency in complex Excel modeling, automation, SQL or Python, dashboarding, or self-built AI-assisted workflows.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, judgment, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or CFA.
• Experience in SaaS.
