Senior Data Scientist (AI)

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Define and measure growth funnels and run experiments to improve acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue.
• Improve matching quality and workflow speed across sourcing, outreach, CRM, and placements through metrics, analysis, and machine learning.
• Design and evaluate pricing and payout incentives, forecast their impact, and build safeguards against gaming and adverse outcomes.
• Take data science work end-to-end from problem framing through deployment and measurement.
• Partner with engineering teams to ship models, metrics, and data products.
• Help establish hirify.global’s foundations for experimentation, measurement, and applied machine learning.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data science, applied machine learning, analytics, or a closely related role.
• Strong experience with experimentation and/or causal inference in product settings.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or another general-purpose programming language.
• Experience building, evaluating, iterating, and monitoring production models.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to ship models, metrics, or data products.
• Degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with data integration and pipeline development.
• Experience in marketplaces, growth, incentives, or pricing.
• Experience with AI-assisted or agentic workflows.
