Integration Reliability Engineer

Location: On-site in Huntington Beach, California, United States; up to 30% travel. U.S. work authorization is required, and employment may be conditioned on authorization to access U.S.-controlled technology without export-license sponsorship.

Salary: Engineer $105,000–$140,000 annually or Senior Engineer $140,000–$180,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Define integration build strategies for assembly, testing, and production readiness.
• Conduct interface FMEAs, risk assessments, and design-for-assembly reviews for complex assemblies.
• Develop assembly control plans and methods for integrating sub-assemblies into complete systems.
• Support component integration, built-to-print assembly, validation, and transition into repeatable production.
• Monitor yield, build health, and process robustness using build, test, and field data.
• Lead root-cause and corrective-action investigations for assembly, integration, test, production, and field failures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least two years of experience in systems integration, manufacturing, quality, reliability engineering, or a related hardware environment.
• Experience with FMEA, root-cause analysis, corrective action, or comparable risk and failure-investigation methods.
• Experience analyzing build, test, or production data to identify process risks and improvement opportunities.
• Ability to collaborate across design, manufacturing, test, operations, and program teams.
• Ability to work hands-on with complex hardware in integration, production, testing, and failure-investigation environments.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating aerospace, defense, propulsion, robotics, or other complex electromechanical hardware.
• Experience with interface failure characterization, process capture, control plans, RCCA, or reliability-growth methods.
• Knowledge of GD&T, design-for-assembly, engineering drawings, specifications, or configuration control.
• Experience with built-to-print assembly, final testing, field containment, or nonconformance investigations.
• Experience in a startup, high-growth manufacturing, or regulated hardware environment.
