Senior Software Engineer - Platform (AI)

Salary: $145,000–$198,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain core platform services, frameworks, and developer tools for an enterprise-scale AI platform.
• Develop automation for testing, integration, deployment, release workflows, version control integration, and code validation.
• Build infrastructure automation for reliable and consistent cloud environment provisioning and management.
• Create internal tools and services that improve developer experience, engineering productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Improve the reliability, scalability, maintainability, observability, and performance of platform services and automation systems.
• Own features end to end, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and mentor engineers on standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of production experience in backend, platform, DevOps, infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and a scripting or automation language such as Python, Shell, or Groovy.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, release automation, testing workflows, infrastructure as code, and cloud environment management.
• Experience designing scalable platform services, frameworks, APIs, developer-facing tools, or engineering workflow systems.
• Knowledge of software design, testing, debugging, observability, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with Go for infrastructure tooling, automation, or cloud platform development.
