Senior Software Engineer - Generative AI

Location: Redwood City, California, United States

Salary: $150,000–$198,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Build systems and tools that enable Generative AI technologies in enterprise applications using the hirify.global Platform.
• Develop scalable, end-to-end machine learning pipelines for distributed systems with heterogeneous hardware, including GPUs and TPUs.
• Collaborate with data scientists to research and implement efficient approaches for training and fine-tuning generative models.
• Work with product owners to define and lead the long-term development of the C3 Generative AI Suite.
• Own the software engineering lifecycle and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Excellent Python programming skills; Java and JavaScript experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, profiling, optimization, and object-oriented and functional programming.
• In-depth understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, with a track record of applying them in production systems.
• Demonstrated end-to-end project ownership and strong listening and explanation skills.
• At least 3 years of work experience in a fast-paced software company.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, or a similar quantitative field.
• Experience with Generative AI technologies such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or ChatGPT Plugins.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
• 5+ years of work experience in a fast-paced software company.
