What you will do
- Manage full-cycle financial operations including monthly invoice reviews and effort reconciliations.
- Prepare and present comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages for executive decision-making.
- Lead the formal fiscal year-end close-out process and ensure high-level reporting accuracy.
- Serve as the primary lead for internal and external audits, managing documentation and data requests.
- Strengthen internal controls and enhance ERP system functionality to drive organizational transparency.
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and federal financial regulations across all operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis.
- Proven knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance in government, nonprofit, or grant-funded settings.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (modeling, macros, complex formulas).
- Proficiency in enterprise-grade ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday, or Essbase).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

- Direct experience with grant administration or large-scale, multi-partner contracts.
- Consultant’s mindset with the ability to translate financial data into strategic organizational goals.
- Strong partnering skills to build consensus across departments and external stakeholders.
