Cloud Solution Architect (Azure)

What you will do

• Define, design, and govern Azure cloud architecture standards across the organization.
• Translate business and application requirements into end-to-end Azure solutions covering compute, networking, storage, identity, and security.
• Evaluate architectures, Azure services, tools, and third-party integrations for security, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
• Architect enterprise Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including host pools, image management, and session host scaling.
• Design GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and champion infrastructure automation, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices.
• Establish standards for monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and cost management while mentoring engineering teams and communicating architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or a related discipline.
• Deep hands-on experience designing and implementing Azure architectures and landing zones, including Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Production experience with modular, reusable infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines at scale with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security architecture, identity management, and distributed systems patterns such as CDN, caching, message buses, API gateways, and load balancing.
• Comfort with on-site work in Atlanta to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnerships.

Nice to have

• Ability to influence technical direction without direct authority.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Go, or Bash for scripting and automation.
