Solutions Architect (Cloud)

What you will do

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Translate business requirements and customer mission objectives into technical architectures, diagrams, and proposals.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development on opportunity qualification, capture efforts, RFP responses, and proposal development.
• Support customer presentations, demonstrations, technical briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
• Lead the design and integration of compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify emerging technologies and contribute to the strategic solution portfolio and roadmap.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Strong expertise in data center architecture, virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V, networking, security principles, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience collaborating with Sales and Business Development teams in a pre-sales or solutioning capacity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working with the U.S. Navy or Navy-specific programs and environments.
• Familiarity with DoDAF, RMF, and NIST security standards.
• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, VMware, or CISSP.
• Experience with proposal development, capture management, application development, MS Power Platform, or other low-code solutions.
