TL;DR

Location: Hsinchu City, Taiwan; customer-site field service and international travel as required

What you will do

  • Provide field service support at customer locations, including equipment start-up, commissioning, training, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Respond to customer technical assistance requests by email and phone in line with service agreements and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and translate technical procedures and process documentation for regional field service teams and customers.
  • Promote, manage, and execute Preventive Maintenance Agreements at customer sites.
  • Diagnose electro-mechanical systems using schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and other technical documentation.
  • Document field service activities, provide quote requirements to customer service representatives, and coordinate technical actions with sales, applications, engineering, and quality teams.

Requirements

  • Technical, engineering, or scientific degree, or equivalent field service experience.
  • Fluent Mandarin and written and oral English are required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while communicating effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to obtain a valid passport and visas for international travel.
  • Ability to complete assigned factory-based, local technical, and corporate training.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical repairs, schematics, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with MS Office, SAP, or PLCs.
  • Semiconductor or gas industry experience.
