Senior Investigator (APAC & China)

Location: Hybrid role based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

What you will do

• Conduct internal compliance investigations from fact-finding through strategy definition.
• Manage investigation cases, including resources, logistics, and stakeholder coordination.
• Apply local and international laws to ensure legal and compliance integrity.
• Advise business partners and Compliance Officers on investigation-related decisions.
• Train colleagues and business partners on compliance matters.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of professional experience in investigation management or a related field.
• Legal background with investigation experience, preferably as a prosecutor or in-house counsel.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict management, presentation, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.
• Commitment to teamwork, intercultural sensitivity, independent work, and pragmatic problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Business fluency in German.
