Process Engineer - Etch (Semiconductor)

Location: Lehi, United States; work is performed at customer sites and in an office setting.

What you will do

• Develop and characterize processes on TEL etch equipment at customer sites for advanced logic and memory applications.
• Design and execute process optimization experiments; characterize, compile, and analyze test data to establish process and material specifications.
• Provide applications development support, customer demonstrations, and technical customer interface activities.
• Coordinate process development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and other machine activities with customers.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, internal business units, and the TEL factory on equipment changes, process issues, and solutions.
• Perform simple equipment maintenance and support process tool start-up and development activities, including possible international travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience; or a master's degree without experience; or an associate's degree with 6 years of related experience; or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment, and spend 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen and keyboard.
• Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds, and to file, bend, or stand as needed.
