Product Manager, Trust & Safety (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL, USA, or San Francisco, CA, USA. The role follows an in-office policy of four days per week with Fridays from home for employees near an office. The AI Agent Product Manager role is based exclusively in San Francisco and requires being located in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Salary: $165,000–$185,000 base in Chicago or $183,000–$205,000 base in San Francisco, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define product strategy and roadmaps across Trust & Safety, including KYC, support experiences, automation, AI agents, and disputes.
• Own ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces involving customer experience, risk mitigation, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to deliver scalable and reliable systems.
• Use data, experimentation, and applicable machine learning or AI capabilities to improve member and operational outcomes.
• Define metrics and success frameworks to drive continuous improvement in member experience, risk outcomes, and operational performance.
• Make high-stakes tradeoffs affecting fraud loss, member trust, financial access, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager; leveling varies based on experience and scope.
• Experience with complex product problems involving risk, operations, platforms, or customer-facing systems.
• Strong product judgment, analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Proven ability to influence and align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate customer needs into product solutions and operate in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.
• For the AI Agent Product Manager role: must be located in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
