Personal Lines Claims Specialist - Property & Casualty

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Answer client questions about claims, explain processes, and follow up through claim resolution.
• Collect claim information and report claims to the appropriate insurance carriers and lines of business.
• Enter claims in Applied Epic, generate Acord notices, and obtain adjuster contact details and claim numbers.
• Actively manage assigned claims, monitor open claims, document claim activity, and guide claims toward timely resolution.
• Coordinate claim reviews between carriers and insureds, advocate for clients in reserving and claim evaluations, and prepare loss summary reports.
• Keep producers and managers informed of claim issues while building relationships with clients and carriers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred.
• Prior experience with Applied Epic is a plus.
• Comfort with regular on-site work is required to support collaboration and cross-functional partnership.
