Staff Fullstack Engineer - On Demand Streaming (m/f/d)

Location: Berlin, Germany; 80% office presence and 20% mobile working

What you will do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate production services across the full software lifecycle.
• Develop and evolve a microservice ecosystem for on-demand audio and video content.
• Create observable, resilient, and horizontally scalable services.
• Write lean, well-tested code using unit, integration, and acceptance testing, applying BDD where useful.
• Automate infrastructure and delivery with infrastructure as code, GitOps, and CI/CD.
• Instrument metrics, logs, and traces and use production incidents as opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software delivery experience.
• Strong depth in one or two areas such as backend, data, observability, or cloud, with secondary skills across the stack.
• Hands-on experience from requirements and design through implementation, testing, and operations.
• Significant experience in at least two areas: Agile/Lean, BDD, DevOps/GitOps, multiple programming languages, or modern UI development.
• Pragmatic approach to selecting appropriate tools and technologies.
• Experience with technologies including TypeScript, Golang, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, FluxCD, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS, or Azure.
