Senior Fullstack Engineer (AdTech)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany; only candidates local to the posting location will be considered.

What you will do

• Design and build full-stack features for campaign management, reporting, and marketplace optimization.
• Develop responsive web frontends, backend services, and APIs within a unified product architecture.
• Choose appropriate languages and tools across a polyglot stack, keeping computationally intensive logic in scalable backend services.
• Own services in production, including testing, observability, performance, and on-call responsibilities.
• Collaborate with product leads and stakeholders on scoping, estimation, and technical decisions.
• Mentor teammates and improve engineering standards through code review, automation, and pragmatic architecture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping production platforms, with strong backend architecture, system design, and code optimization skills.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures, with experience solving complex data-processing or resource-optimization problems.
• Professional experience with multiple programming languages or ecosystems, such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, Scala, or C++.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, backend service design, and relational or distributed data stores such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Strong foundations in API design, data modeling, testing, and system design.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile, ownership-driven environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or GCP, containers, and CI/CD.
• Exposure to AdTech, dashboards, BI surfaces, or high-throughput data-driven products.
• Experience integrating ML or data services into product workflows.
