Fullstack Engineer (Geospatial)

Location: hirify.global GmbH Berlin Office, hybrid

Company

hirify.global builds satellite analytics applications using deep learning and earth observation data to support deforestation prevention, critical infrastructure monitoring, and faster responses to natural disasters.

What you will do

• Build and extend end-to-end product features that process large volumes of geospatial data.
• Render and query geospatial data efficiently in the browser and backend while maintaining a strong focus on UX.
• Design performant API endpoints and backend services for partners and customers.
• Build integrations for third-party consumers of hirify.global services.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, data, DevOps, ML, and geospatial engineering specialists from the early stages of product development.
• Take progressively larger ownership of product features and systems.

Requirements

• Solid production experience with TypeScript and React, or another component-based frontend framework such as Vue or Preact.
• Backend experience with NestJS, Express, or Node.js.
• Experience working in a codebase with CI/CD and code review, including navigating systems built by others.
• Practical day-to-day experience with AI-assisted coding.

Nice to have

• Spec-driven or test-driven development experience.
• Experience with agentic development approaches.
• Web-based geospatial or GIS experience.
• Strong design and UX awareness.
