Senior Director, Strategy and Growth Initiatives (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA; four days per week in the office and Fridays from home for employees near an office

Salary: $253,000–$350,000 base salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Lead high-impact strategic initiatives that support long-term growth and business durability.
• Analyze market, competitor, and consumer trends to shape company strategy and priorities.
• Partner with senior leaders to define long-term vision and build organizational alignment.
• Translate strategy into actionable plans and drive execution across cross-functional teams.
• Develop analytical insights and research to support decision-making and prioritization.
• Guide complex problem-solving efforts and project teams toward measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategy or management consulting, corporate strategy, or operating roles in financial services or fintech.
• MBA or equivalent experience.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across complex organizations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial modeling and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience leading project teams and driving initiatives end-to-end.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate insights into clear recommendations.

• Deep experience in fintech or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, market research, or product analytics.
