Technical Consultant (AI/Data Integration)

Location: Based in Barcelona, Spain; work primarily in Spain with involvement across Italy, France, and the Middle East. Flexible work hours and the possibility of remote work are available.

What you will do

• Design technical approaches for customer initiatives involving data integration, AI pipelines, platform extensions, and end-to-end data flows.
• Build AI agents and plugins to automate data handling, accelerate configuration, and resolve technical issues.
• Run technical workshops and integration sessions with customer IT teams and stakeholders.
• Manage technical workstreams across implementation projects and continuous service delivery.
• Improve integration patterns and processes through simplification and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a technical role, including some customer-facing work.
• Hands-on coding skills in Python, SQL, REST APIs, and at least one additional language such as Shell, Java, or Ruby.
• Practical interest or exposure to AI tools and agents, including personal projects or experimentation.
• Understanding of data integration, data validation, and monitoring.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise planning, supply chain, or retail software.
• Experience building or deploying AI agents, LLM-based tools, or data automation pipelines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Apache Kafka, or cloud data tooling.
• French, Italian, or Arabic language skills.
• Experience in technical architecture, pre-sales engineering, or hybrid technical delivery.
