Planning Manager- Franchise (the Americas)

Location: Los Angeles HQ; onsite

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop seasonal and annual merchandise financial plans for franchise partners across the Americas.
• Build demand forecasts by market, partner, product category, and channel.
• Analyze sales, inventory, weeks of supply, sell-through, margin, and other KPIs to improve profitability and inventory productivity.
• Create pre-season assortment, inventory, replenishment, seasonal buy, and exit strategies with Sales and Merchandising.
• Monitor in-season performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend commercial actions.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Product, Operations, and regional teams on inventory flow, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and planning improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of merchandise planning, inventory planning, or allocation experience in retail, wholesale, or franchise businesses.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret large data sets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, assortment planning, and replenishment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting international wholesale or franchise partners.
• Experience with Anaplan, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP and planning systems.
• Knowledge of global retail calendars, regional trading patterns, multiple currencies, and international inventory planning.
• Understanding of apparel retail planning, including size and color optimization.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI and reporting tools.
