Location: On-site presence required in Saugerties, New York, United States; a hybrid arrangement can be made.

Salary: $68,600–$102,800 per year

What you will do

• Design and integrate mechanical concepts for new and existing products in line with specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and document designs using CAD systems, Ceres processes, work breakdowns, and project plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers on product development, design reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
• Define test requirements and create documentation to verify product quality and functionality.
• Support manufacturing during first-article builds, integration, standard production, and troubleshooting.
• Identify design and product risks and lead mitigation through prototype testing, corrective actions, DFMEA, PFMEA, and 8D processes.

Requirements

• Experience designing and integrating mechanical systems and components.
• Experience with CAD systems and structured design documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering and customer-facing environments.
• Experience defining verification tests and supporting manufacturing or production troubleshooting.
• Ability to conduct self-reviews, peer design reviews, and cross-functional technical reviews.
• Ability to work on-site in Saugerties, New York, with a hybrid arrangement available.
