What you will do

• Implement and support technical infrastructure for end-user training systems in a secure environment.
• Deliver software, hardware, and infrastructure projects, from configuration changes to complete new-site deployments.
• Support complex bespoke client systems, including training, audio/visual, networking, and telephony environments.
• Analyse system needs, troubleshoot hardware, network, peripheral, and remote-support issues, and deploy updates and rollouts.
• Develop installation and escalation plans while contributing to customer-facing delivery activities.
• Identify and report potential business opportunities through on-site customer engagement.

Requirements

• SC clearance is required.
• At least three years of experience in an IT support organisation.
• Experience working with military environments and strong customer-domain knowledge.
• Fluent English and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of network design, topology, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VLANs, and core networks.
• Experience with ITIL incident management, SLA management, configuration management, on-site delivery, and MoD guidelines and standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with 4G, Ethernet, Secure+ Ethernet, ADSL, FTTC, and SOGEA.
• Understanding of circuit mapping and complex network infrastructure.
