International IDCS Build Technician (Data Center)

Location: Dodworth, United Kingdom; regular reporting to the hirify.global UK Nexus office is required as determined by management.

What you will do

• Assemble and integrate customer data center racks with servers, networking devices, storage, cables, and other equipment.
• Validate equipment against bills of material, configure servers, perform bench testing, and complete customer-specific configuration updates.
• Install rack components, cables, labels, license keys, and management-interface IP settings according to runbooks and rack elevation diagrams.
• Perform power testing, redundancy failover testing, hardware verification, BIOS and firmware updates, and troubleshooting of failed components.
• Capture MAC addresses and other build data, merge outputs, and update internal systems using customer and internal documentation.
• Coordinate with automation, warehouse, sales, and vendor teams on build status, inventory, modifications, hirify.globalpping schedules, and support tickets.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, and VISIO diagrams and translate logical designs into physical builds.
• Technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, organization, planning, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to complete firmware upgrades, network settings, and other technical configurations across multiple vendor platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple rack integration projects and collaborate with several teams under tight deadlines.
• Structured cable routing skills and ability to follow quality-control procedures and documented instructions.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, lift, and move equipment for extended periods; overtime may be required.
