Capacity Planning Specialist, Advisor

What you will do

• Develop and maintain finite capacity models across SMT, assembly, testing, and other value streams.
• Model scenarios involving demand changes, resource constraints, and new product introductions.
• Analyze capacity utilization, throughput, and efficiency to identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate capacity planning for new product introductions and factory ramps with operations, supply chain, engineering, suppliers, and leadership.
• Lead debottlenecking initiatives involving capital investments, shift models, and process improvements.
• Communicate capacity risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in capacity planning, production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing is highly desired.
• Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.
• Expertise in data analysis, modeling, and visualization using Excel and Power BI.
• Knowledge of cycle time modeling, OEE, factory control systems, Lean Six Sigma, takt time design, and time studies.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with AI-driven analytics, predictive modeling, or machine learning in manufacturing or supply chain.
